a note:
Sorry guys but no photos were taken at this game because we're having some issues regarding people not wanting pictures of their kids on the internet and we need to pay a little more attention to ensure we're not upsetting anyone. We will take pictures at the next game and discuss with the coaches before hand whether or not it will be okay to post them. If not, we're going to post anyway and blob out their players so that we can continue to show pictures of the action and not deeply upset anyone.
The Game
I've got to say that I was so stoked to see all of you on your very top form in this game! I don't think we've had a game yet where everyone has played with so much confidence and skill. From kick-off I saw a string of 9 passes before even a challenge could be made for the ball and it was really testament to all of your hard work at practice - congratulations guys.
A couple of issues that we need to address are corners and throw-ins but the touch is coming along nicely and it's been a real pleasure to see you all maturing this year.
I think La Máquina is a great little team and I especially like the bond I see forming between you all. In the game it is important to trust the players on your team and sometimes it can be hard because you only see each other 2 or 3 times a week for a few hours. I commend you all on working so hard to become a solid unit, respectful of each other, and tough when you need to be.
So great game guys and the next blurb about our derby v. the silver bullets will be a little more in depth and fun to read and see - I promise.
